Cost Accounting Manager

As a Costing Manager in the Ayurveda manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost accounting, cost analysis, and cost control to ensure profitability and efficiency in manufacturing operations. Your role will be crucial in budgeting, financial forecasting, and pricing strategies to support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: - Perform product costing and price analysis for various Ayurvedic products. - Analyze and control production costs, recommending actions for improved profitability. - Maintain accurate cost databases for all product lines. - Oversee inventory accounting and optimize costs while reducing wastage. - Assist in budget preparation, cost projections, and forecasting. - Monitor performance against budget, providing regular variance analysis. - Identify cost reduction areas and implement cost-saving measures. - Generate monthly and quarterly cost reports for management. - Evaluate cost structures to recommend pricing strategies for profit maximization. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. - Continuously assess and improve costing methodologies for accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: - Educational Qualification: CMA Intermediate is required. - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in costing or finance roles, with 2 years in a manufacturing environment. - Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of costing principles, financial accounting, and inventory management. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and costing systems. Strong analytical and communication skills.
