Description:

Acquara Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our Gurgaon office. The candidate should have a strong background in corporate taxation and financial oversight, with a proven track record in managing complex tax compliance issues and leading high-performing teams. This role involves overseeing all aspects of corporate taxation, including compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws, and providing strategic guidance to ensure optimal financial and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance tax efficiency and compliance.
• Tax Compliance Oversight: Ensure comprehensive compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws. Conduct in-depth reviews of financial records and tax computations to guarantee accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities. Provide strategic advice on tax-related matters and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, including assets, liabilities, and profit & loss accounts. Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights based on historical data and current financial performance.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, particularly UAE Corporate Tax laws, and ensure that the team and company practices are aligned with the latest requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Extensive experience in corporate taxation, including tax compliance and strategic planning. Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and financial data.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software. Strong technical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax laws and compliance.
• Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to articulate complex tax and financial concepts to various stakeholders.
• Big-4 Experience is more preferable.
