Controls Testing Manager, Director

• In this role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of the regular testing of key controls and files, and the completion of targeted control reviews for a franchise or function
• Working closely with the relevant business areas and other business controls teams, you’ll make sure that findings from reviews are escalated and robust action plans are agreed and driven forward with key stakeholders
• This highly collaborative role provides an opportunity to develop your skillset and raise your profile across the bank

On Top Of This, You’ll Be

• Taking accountability for the design, delivery and coordination of parts of the function’s testing plan, ensuring close liaison with front line, upstream risk and second and third line of defence
• Designing, owning and maintaining a risk-based testing methodology to aid the prioritisation and delivery of testing activity
• Driving clear improvements and enhancements to the testing approach, which leverage use of data and reduce requirements for onsite testing
• Delivering timely and high-quality testing activity and reports which focus on key controls, and driving action plans that are compliant with the operational risk handbook
• Providing leadership to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, motivating your team to achieve objectives as well as managing budgets and headcount
  

You’ll Also Bring

• Experience of working in leading implementation of solutions to support end-to-end automation of control testing through the use of for example data analytics, robotic process automation or agentic AI
• A track record of managing testing of large control portfolios, including automated controls, data quality controls and controls reliant on emerging technology
• A stro of leading implementation of tooling to support management of control testing activities
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and develop effective relationships across the business
• A high level of collaboration and networking skills
