Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Tactical Purchasing Contractor, located in Chakan. The responsibilities include conducting procurement activities such as identifying suppliers, obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, and placing purchase orders. The contractor will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, maintain vendor relationships, and track stock levels to avoid disruptions. Coordination with internal teams to understand requirements and compliance with company procurement policies are key components of this role.

What You Will Do

• Support the Development and Technology Team in low and medium complexity procurement activities.
• Manage procurement activities with PR related to technical services components.
• Manage Purchase Orders based on business needs in line with supplier management strategies.
• Follow up on PO confirmations.
• Expedite and track shipments as per business requirements.
• Monitor Goods Receipt not invoiced and Invoiced but not Received activities.
• Manage the VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) workflow for invoice clearing.
• Manage sourcing events in Ariba and consolidate quotations received from suppliers.
• Drive compliance with category strategy, supplier base plan, contracts, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, acting as a proactive Business Partner.
• Work according to good practices and facilitate networking on site.
• Support continuous improvements of procedures and tools (standardization, simplification, and automation).

We Believe You Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Economics / Technologies / Engineering.

• Ability to respond quickly to urgent cases and manage large volumes of work.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong communication, influencing, and business partnering skills.
• 1–3 years of experience in

  supplier base management, sourcing & contracting,

  or

  purchase-to-invoice

  activities.
• Advanced

  Excel

  skills (advantage).
• Knowledge of

  Ariba

  (advantage).
• Background in

  SSC

  or

  Manufacturing

  (advantage).

General

• Ability to recommend operational changes to ensure continuous production flow.
• Desire for continuous personal development and achievement of annual goals.
• Proactive and positive mindset focused on

• Ability to work both
