About the Role

We’re looking for a writer who can simplify complex technology. Someone who enjoys understanding how systems work and can convert that into clear, structured, business-focused content.

This role sits inside Codeft’s marketing and content division. You’ll be working closely with our strategy, design, and product teams on a large B2B engagement in the industrial technology and automation space. The work will span website content, product storytelling, social media content, SEO, sales enablement, CRM flows, and scripts for videos.

If you’re curious, sharp, organised, and comfortable learning technical concepts quickly, this is the right fit.

What You Will Be Responsible For

1. Website Content (Large-Scale Rewrite Project)

You will write structured, high-quality copy for:

 • Product pages

 • Company pages

 • Case studies

 • FAQ and microcopy

 • SEO content and metadata

The goal is to translate technical product value into simple, convincing, industry-relevant messaging.

2. Positioning & Messaging Support

• Assist in building value propositions

 • Develop taglines and campaign-ready copy

 • Maintain consistent tone and clarity across touchpo

3. SEO & Long-Form Content

• Write blogs, guides, knowledge-base articles

 • Research keyword intent and align content accordingly

 • Draft pillar pages and glossary content

4. CRM, Email & WhatsApp Flows

• Create email sequences and nurturing flows

 • Write WhatsApp drip messages

 • Assist in sales communication content

5. Scripts & Video Content

• Draft scripts for explainers, demos, testimonials

 • Write storyboards and VO lines

 • Prepare captioning and short-form video text

6. Landing Page & Performance Content

• Copy for targeted landing pages

 • Ad headlines and variants

 • Industry-specific messaging for campaign sets

7. Research & Technical Understanding

• Understand the client’s product suite

 • Study manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 concepts

 • Distill complex terminology into simple language

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

 • 2–4 years writing for B2B, SaaS, tech, product, or engineering brands

 • Ability to explain complex ideas simply

 Strong writing fundamentals and structured thinking

 • Experience writing websites and long-form content

 • Comfort working on large content projects with deadlines

 • Curiosity about industrial products, hardware-software systems, and technical subjects

Good to Have

 • Familiarity with SEO principles

 • Prior agency experience

 • Experience in manufacturing, robotics, IoT, or enterprise tech

 • Experience writing video scripts
