Along with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, you must have a firm grasp of the English language. The ideal candidate will know the difference between “it’s” and “its” and “cancelation” and “cancellation.” If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand what makes readers “click,” you’re who we’re looking for

If you're passionate about exploring the intricacies of the U.S. real estate landscape, this role is for you. Our ideal candidate is not just an editor but someone with fresh ideas who wants to make a dent in the universe.

Responsibilities:

Proofread blogs for syntax, punctuation, and grammatical errors (if any).

Work with writers to increase the readability of content and make it engaging for an American audience.

Improve content quality across Houzeo’s different growth channels.

Optimize published blogs using SEO best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Mass Media, or any other related field.

Minimum 2years of work experience as a content editor/writer.

Excellent written and verbal English language skills and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Must be able to find current authoritative sources and fact-check all information.

Bonus Points

You have prior experience writing/editing American English.

You have an understanding of American Real Estate
