About the role:
A Content Creator & Editor for real estate plays a crucial role in creating engaging video content that highlights properties, showcases real estate services, and supports marketing efforts.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit engaging property showcases, virtual tours, and client stories.
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos with sound, transitions, motion graphics, and color correction.
- Optimize videos for social media platforms and websites.
- Collaborate on scriptwriting and storyboarding for real estate videos.
- Translate concepts into compelling visual narratives tailored for reels, shorts, and ads.
- Stay aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
- Work closely with real estate agents, marketing teams, and photographers.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine video content.
- Contribute to content calendars and brainstorming sessions.
- Format and compress videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- Optimize titles, descriptions, and tags for better reach and discoverability.
- Ensure all final content is proofed, tested, and platform-ready.
Qualifications
- A degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Multimedia Arts, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for skilled candidates with hands-on experience.
- 1–5 years of proven experience in creating short-form content and editing videos specifically for social media ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Ability to independently conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging video content tailored for digital platforms. Must be comfortable working with mobile footage, stock clips, and self-shot visuals.
- Hands-on experience with industry tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with tools like After Effects or Canva Pro to create simple animations, text overlays, or transitions.
- Understanding of what performs well on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X —including trends, hashtags, formats, and storytelling techniques.
- Basic ability to clean and mix audio, sync background music with visuals, and integrate voiceovers effectively.
- Experience collaborating on content calendars, brainstorming video scripts, and aligning visual output with brand messaging.
- Strong communication skills to work with marketing, design, and performance teams. Ability to take feedback positively and deliver within deadlines.
- A self-starter mindset with a passion for creating scroll-stopping content and the ability to adapt to new content trends, formats, and platform requirements.
