Your Impact
- Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project. Tasks may include performing systems configurations, troubleshooting systems errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance, and contribute to the design of technical solutions for customer environments.
- Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives or independently as a consultant to customer.
- Liaises with Solutions Architect as appropriate (case to case basis). Should be confident and capable of handling solution implementation / customization / configuration/ Upgrade of the tool / solution.
- Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment.
- Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
- Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
- Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared.
- Acts professionally with the company customers.
- Role models Knowledge sharing and re-use within practice or profession.
- Proactively encourages membership and contributions of others to professional community. Uses professions to meet the relevant certification and professional standards.
- Produces internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components or modules, etc.
- Participates in the selling process in delivery reviews and works with sales/principals on pre- sales activities.
Education And Experience Required
- Any Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of technical experience on any of the Service Management tools preferably Micro Focus/ OpenText SMAX
- Desired process experience - ITIL v3, ITIL v4 foundations or different modules
What The Role Offers
- Must have the ability to understand proposed solution and identify tasks for configurations.
- Must have the ability to gather requirements for implementations.
- Must have knowledge on ITIL Process
- Must have hands on experience in full deployment of SMAX or any other Service Management tool and its components along with its integration (Minimum 1 Full Project each)
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL Database like Backup and restore, HA configuration and Disaster recovery
- Must have knowledge on writing SMAX business Rules, creating Fulfilment plans and custom apps or programming language like JavaScript and Python
- Experienced in SMAX or any other Service Management application’s administration, tailoring, and L2/L3 level support for internal or external users, experience working with SMAX R&D on applying hot fixes for fixing L3 issues would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge on SMAX Integration Engine and Business rules
- Installation and Integration of SMAX using OPB
- Good to have knowledge of Linux and REST API
- Must have the ability to create documents sets like Implementation and Configuration Guide, SOP, RCA, Health Checklist, Training Manuals and User Guides
- Must have knowledge on Power BI or any BI Tool
- Good to have the Ability to Create UAT, QA Test, PIV Test and Regression Test plan/cases.
- Good to have the knowledge on Dockers and Kubernetes, its working, and components.
