Job Description

Industry & Sector:

Healthcare — Private pediatric care and tertiary pediatric services. We deliver evidence-based outpatient, inpatient and neonatal care across India, focused on child health, preventive pediatrics, and acute pediatric emergency management. This is a full-time, on-site Consultant Pediatrician position based in India.Role & Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care for neonates, infants, children and adolescents across OPD and IPD, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning.
  • Lead stabilization and initial management of pediatric and neonatal emergencies; perform resuscitation and organise timely referrals or transfers when required.
  • Manage NICU-level care including ventilator management, invasive/non-invasive support and coordination of multidisciplinary newborn care.
  • Prescribe and oversee evidence-based treatment plans, immunization schedules, growth & development monitoring, and long-term follow-up for chronic pediatric conditions.
  • Mentor and supervise junior doctors, nurses and allied staff; conduct case reviews, morbidity & mortality meetings and contribute to clinical training programs.
  • Drive clinical governance: implement protocols, ensure documentation and compliance with hospital standards, and participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Pediatrics or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized in India.
  • Valid medical registration with an Indian state medical council.
  • Proven clinical experience managing pediatric outpatient, inpatient and neonatal cases in a hospital setting.
  • Hands-on competency in pediatric emergency care, neonatal resuscitation and NICU protocols.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation practices.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, patient counselling and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Fellowship/training in Neonatology or Pediatric Intensive Care.
  • Certification in PALS and NRP (or equivalent).
  • Experience with hospital accreditation, clinical audits or protocol development.
