What You’ll Do: Driving Strategy and Client Outcomes

This role requires a blend of investigative expertise and leadership. You will be responsible for end-to-end case delivery, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our research capabilities.

  • Drive Investigative Cases:

    Lead and own

    the end-to-end delivery of complex investigative and high-stakes due diligence projects, ensuring timely and high-quality client outcomes.
  • Manage Financial Performance (P&L):

    Take responsibility for the profitability and effective resource allocation of assigned cases, contributing directly to the team's overall financial health.
  • Develop Analyst Capabilities:

    Mentor and assist in the

    training and development

    of the Analyst team, helping to build their expertise in primary research and intelligence gathering techniques.
  • Conduct High-Value Primary Research:

    Oversee and, when necessary, personally execute the most sensitive and complex primary research engagements with senior industry professionals.
  • Shape Client Strategy:

    Serve as a key client point of contact, presenting research findings and translating intelligence into strategic, actionable recommendations for private equity and investment banking clients.


Qualifications/Skills Required:

  2. Thorough understanding of

    business issues - risk factors - fraud areas - ESG related concepts etc..

  3. Educational Foundation:

    You possess an academic background that has honed your

    communication and language proficiency

    . Degrees like

    Journalism, English (Hons), Public Policy, Economics, or Law

    are highly preferred, though we consider other degrees (BBA, BCOM, MBA) if accompanied by a strong portfolio of writing and communication.
  4. Analytical Fluency:

    You have a working

    knowledge of economics, finance, and the commercial world

    , allowing you to converse credibly with high-level industry sources.
  5. Experience:

    You have 1-2 years of experience where you've successfully leveraged your

    communication skills

    in fields like primary market research, due diligence, journalism, consulting, or risk management.
  6. The Power of Clarity:

    You possess

    exceptional writing and editing skills

    with the ability to structure complex findings clearly, concisely, and with a client-ready tone.
  7. Street Smart:

    You are

    resourceful, discreet

    , comfortable conducting primary research, and excel at

    analyzing stakeholder relationships

    to piece together the full business narrative.
