Your primary function is to master the art of the insightful conversation and convert soft intelligence into hard evidence.

• Become an Expert Interviewer:

  Conduct high-level, targeted conversations ("industry outreach") with senior and mid-level professionals to discreetly gather crucial

  market intelligence

  to support high stakes diligence projects for PE clients.

• Execute Strategic Outreach:

  Use proactive communication strategies (including cold calling and open-source inquiries) to gather essential information with minimal supervision.

• Investigate the Full Picture:

  Use your communication and research skills to vet target companies, focusing on

  management reputations

  , business models, operational integrity, supply chains, and potential risks (ESG, financial practices).

• Translate Talk into Actionable Insight:

  Draft compelling, client-facing reports

  that clearly and concisely synthesize conversational and documentary findings for private equity and investment banking clients.

• Support Team Growth:

  Contribute to internal training and process refinement, helping to hone the firm's investigative approach.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Educational Foundation (Preferable):

  An academic background that has honed your

  communication and language proficiency

  . Degrees like

  English (Hons), Journalism, Public Policy, or Law

  are highly valued, alongside other relevant fields (BBA, BCOM, MBA, etc.), provided you have a

  strong understanding of business risks

  .

• Communication Mastery:

  You possess

  exceptional writing, editing, and client-handling skills

  with the proven ability to structure complex insights clearly and concisely.

• Investigative Analyst, Due Diligence & Primary ResearchStreet Smart & Resourceful:

  You are comfortable conducting

  discreet primary market research

  , analyzing stakeholder relationships, and

  triangulating business intelligence

  from multiple sources.

• Due Diligence Mindset:

  You understand the fundamentals of integrity due diligence, including evaluating reputational risks and synthesizing source-based findings into cohesive reports.
