Role Overview
The Consultant (Manager), Right to Education, will lead and manage key projects and initiatives in partnership with the state/central government, and working closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders. The project aims to bridge the gap between policy and action, ensuring sustainable access to scholarships to students in need, through technological and policy support in close partnership with the government.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of the Scholarships project, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of pre-decided objectives● Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials, partner organisations, internal teams and other key stakeholders to facilitate project implementation and policy integration.● Define the vision, objectives, and user needs for the Digital Public Good (DPG) by engaging stakeholders and ensuring the platform addresses real-world challenges, especially for vulnerable groups.● Work with the tech team who will design the DPG with open standards and modular architecture to ensure interoperability, scalability, and accessibility, prioritizing user-centric features● Embed privacy, security, and transparent governance mechanisms, including robust data protection and clear documentation● Establish systems for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement by collecting user feedback, measuring impact, and iteratively refining the platform to maximize public benefit and sustainability.Requirements●
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences (public policy, social work, public administration, economics, development studies, or other related field) + at least 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in the social sector.
- Undergraduate degree in relevant fields with at least 5 years of work experience, ideally in the social sector.

Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Has managed and delivered projects end-to-end for at least one project and is well-versed with principles of designing, thinking, planning, execution, budget management, quality control, monitoring and evaluation.
- Understands how technology can streamline MIS implementation and identifies opportunities for tech-driven improvements, possesses strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data tools to manage large datasets.

Benefits
Compensation
● The compensation will be based on Indus Action‘s compensation benchmarking rubric. The range of compensation will be between INR 7-11 LPA, depending on qualifications, experience, and a good fit for the role.● This is a one-year contractual position. Renewal or extension will be subject to organisational requirements and performance.
Locational Requirement
The candidate should be open to being posted in Rajasthan, based on organizational needs.
