Consultant

Your role

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.

You will be involved in various stages of application development process to design, build, test and release solutions using Murex application APIs which will be used by the equity, commodities, IRD and FX Cash trading desks as well as the market risk and finance departments.

You will define the problem, propose, and refine the solution.

You will be extensively involved in workflows configuration, development of Interfaces with internal and external system in eco system using various Murex APIs.

You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope.

You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities

- take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

- to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; while remaining detail-oriented and team-oriented.

- full compliance with internal procedures as defined by Audit/Compliance must be monitored.

- Mentor team members to improve both their technical and personnel skills.

Required

- Minimum 3+ years of prior experience as Murex MxML/workflows Developer.

- Knowledge about requirement lifecycle management in Agile with expert knowledge in agile tools and conducting agile ceremonies.

- Requirement/Business Process Modelling and related tools and experience in implementing Process Improvements

- Analysis of Business Requirement documents and creation of technical design documents.

- Sound knowledge of Murex Architecture, Workflow tasks and Objects.

- Strong ability to elicit non-functional requirements, such as below (but not limited to): Security Control considerations (e.g. access tokens, handling the sensitive data), Network Connectivity Impacts (e.g. VDP/DP/MQ), Response time/net processing time of API calls, Legal, Accessibility, Purging abandoned records etc.,

- Good Knowledge of Pre-Trade rules, look up tables and various murex workflows and their relevant DB tables.

- Extensive development experience with configuring and implementing various exchange workflows, BO workflows, Look up tables etc.,

- Very good SQL skills and exposure to Unix skills.

- Working experience on tools such as UC4, Bitbucket, JIRA, HPSM etc.,

- Delivering optimization and process improvements.

- Strong team player skills and taking ownership of tasks.

- Strong communication skills.

- Experience on equity, commodities, IRD and FX Cash Asset classes.

- Experience in working in a fast pace high pressure environment.

Preferred

- Good understanding of various tables and schemas on Murex financial DB and Murex Datamart

- Good understanding of murex workflows, look up tables configuration.
