Job Description


Execution Role

•       Responsible for a client-facing role for multiple engagements for investor relations advisory

•       Creating and presenting investment messages to the investment community on behalf of a company. Also, monitoring and presenting to management the opinions of the investment community regarding the company's performance

•       Advice clients on setting up IR department, IR strategy, plan, and execution

•       Conduct perception analysis for clients to understand how investors’ community perceives their performance and communication efforts

•       Conduct IR benchmarking and communicate leading IR practices to enhance IR communication and collaterals

•       Develop content and deliver training on investor relations to promoters and senior management

•       Responsible for developing IR collaterals like presentations, press releases, factsheet

•       Advice clients on the Integrated Report, Annual Report, regulatory filings, and proxy statements

•       Advice clients on corporate governance, insider trading, and other regulatory requirement related to investor relations.

•       Assist client in organizing conferences, road shows, earnings conference calls, and investor meetings

 

 

Required Skills

•       Strong connections and reach with the Capital Market participants – institutional investors, buy side and sell side participants, merchant bankers and other financial stakeholders. 

•       Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

•       Excellent Analytical skills

•       Required to be updated on new development in capital markets and investor relations services

•       Familiar with regulatory requirements as given in SEBI LODR and SEBI PIT

•       Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

•       Well-versed with operating databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson One, and IPREO

 

 

Other Requisites

•       Plays the role of performance manager for junior staff

•       Expected to be a people leader for your department/location and manage the team in terms of staffing, appraisals etc.

•       Plays the role of a performance manager for junior staff. Actively be involved in training, coaching and mentoring the team members

•       The job would demand travel to client locations within India and abroad

 

Qualification

•       CA/MBA/CFA with a good academic background

•       Prior relevant experience of 1-3 years preferred in Investor Relations, Equity Research and Fund Management
