Our Global Claims Data & Analytics function is focused on enabling a data-driven claims organization through actionable data and core business metrics that can deliver key business insights and exceptional service to our clients and partners. The Consultant Data & BI for Global Claims is responsible for Data Quality and Operational Support (BAU) of data and reporting assets, ensuring accurate and timely availability of data to meet the data and reporting needs of global and regional claims.
What youll be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- In alignment with the business strategy and goals, lead the BAU (Business as Usual) support to develop and maintain comprehensive data and reporting systems that meets the needs of global and regional stakeholders.
- Own the data and reporting operational processes for Claims and drive effective use of data across the business areas to drive performance and efficiencies
- Work with data and reporting product owners to understand prioritized requests that fall within the remit of BAU support model for production issues, bug fixes and ad hoc requests
- Collaborate with IDA BAU team to plan and deliver prioritized BAU requests for data and reporting
- Maintain operation of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into key operational metrics and trends, using data visualization tools and techniques
- Own the production and monitoring of monthly/quarterly global metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) defined and measured by the business to ensure timely availability of accurate information.
- Implement data quality standards and protocols to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within AXIOM MI for Claims
- Establish and monitor Data Quality Reconciliation of claims data across source applications and AXIOM environment
- Track and resolve data quality issues including management of Data Quality PI tracker and monthly reporting
- Support UAT of small change requests and project deliverables and provide sign off from GCDA BAU perspective for deployment
- Execute on BAU owner responsibilities within the Data Delivery Operating Model
- Respond to business inquiries, support claims analysis, validate analytical use cases, and contribute to proof-of-concept projects
- Support MBR, QBR and Board reporting processes to meet regional needs.
- Assist data champions with access to and appropriate use of data and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through the analysis of operational data and reporting trends.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions to enhance data literacy across Claims.
- Ensure documentation of data and reporting processes and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements

What you will BRING

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Relevant years of experience working in an insurance company preferably in a Claims, or relevant Finance or Actuarial function(s).
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on SQL proficiency and BI tool expertise
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports using data visualization tools, Power BI required
- Experience collaborating with data teams, projects, and initiatives, and delivering data products and services that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Experience analyzing use cases, data requirements, executing POCs, and validating solutions as they are built and implemented.
