Consultant-Construction Audit

U.S. Construction Project

• Assist in 

  conducting audits of construction contracts

  , focusing on cost verification and compliance.
• Analyze financial records, including invoices and 

  change orders,

  against contract stipulations.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to gather necessary documentation.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Support pre-construction contract reviews to establish effective financial controls.
• Will be involved in 

  Contract Administration, Planning, Billing, Coordination, Budgeting.

• Perform in-process and closeout transactional cost and billings reviews.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree in construction management, or a related field.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in audit compliance

   or the 

  construction industry

  .
• Familiarity with 

  construction project

   documentation and billing processes.
• Ability to support 

  Eastern Time Zone calls

   and working hours as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

   and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with 

  construction contract auditing.

• Knowledge of industry standards such as COSO and the GAO Yellow Book is a plus.
• Good English communication skills
• Exposure working in Big4s is a plus.
