Construction Site Manager - Solar EPC Projects

Contractual job for an Engineer with a Bachelors Degree in the field of Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering,

Position : Manager - Construction.

Location : Solapur, Rojmal, Nandurbar.

Qualification : B.E. in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

Experience : 10+ years of experience in Solar EPC project construction, preferably utility-scale (ground-mounted).

On Service Contract till further notice

Job Responsibilities:-

• Lead and manage end-to-end site construction activities for utility-scale Solar EPC projects.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project execution to ensure timely completion within budget and quality parameters.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and HSE teams for seamless project execution.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site engineers to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental norms, and regulatory requirements.
• Review construction drawings, identify design issues, and provide on-site technical resolutions.
• Manage site logistics, manpower, and material planning effectively.
• Track project progress through daily/weekly reports and escalate potential risks or delays.
• Ensure quality workmanship and conduct regular inspections during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities for site coordination and approvals.

Special Skills :

• Strong understanding of PV module installation, MMS, civil foundations, cabling and switchyard works.
• Proven track record in project execution, contractor management, and site coordination.
• Familiar with construction methodologies, project scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera), and QA/QC procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound knowledge of HSE practices and regulatory compliance in solar projects.
• Ability to handle multiple sites and work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
