Configuration Specialist

As a Configuration Specialist at Hexure India, your role involves implementing business rules in FireLight, the proprietary SaaS electronic fulfillment solution. You will be responsible for applying template and custom business rules to applications for financial products to ensure that users complete applications accurately and completely. Your involvement will span the software development life cycle from requirements gathering to project implementation. Additionally, you will provide basic Tier 2 production support from a Firelight configuration perspective. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create business rules to enhance user experience in completing electronic applications based on requirements. - Maintain and update business rules for various work items in the carrier workflow. - Support customer deployments and address issues submitted by test teams promptly. - Conduct end-user scenario testing, unit, and integration testing for application/product functionality. - Collaborate with specialists and developers on shared projects. - Troubleshoot problems and provide support for client tickets. - Meet utilization, productivity targets, project deadlines, and established KPIs. - Deliver code simplicity with high quality and low churn. **Qualifications Required:** - 1-3 years of technical field experience. - Proficiency in Web and Desktop applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Experience in XML creation, editing, and troubleshooting, integrating XML with software applications. - Strong written and oral communication skills in English. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Effective decision-making, problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy. - Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology trends. - Understanding of the importance of following procedures. - Financial services industry experience is a plus.
