The Digital & Innovation group at USP is seeking a Data Scientist proficient in advanced analytics, data visualization, and machine learning to work on innovative projects and deliver digital solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage data insights to create a unified experience across USP's ecosystem. In this role, you will contribute to USP's public health mission by increasing access to high-quality, safe medicine and improving global health through public standards and programs. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and IT teams to ensure project success, apply ML techniques for business impact, and communicate results effectively to diverse audiences. **Requirements:** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics) or equivalent experience. **Experience:** - Data Scientist: 3-6 years hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, statistics, and natural language processing. - Senior Data Scientist: 6-10 years hands-on experience in data science and advanced analytics. - Proficiency in Python packages and visualization tools, SQL, and CNN/RNN models. - Experience with data extraction, XML documents, and DOM model. **Additional Preferences:** - Master's degree in relevant fields. - Experience in scientific chemistry or life sciences. - Familiarity with pharmaceutical datasets and nomenclature. - Ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical outputs. - Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** Non-supervisory position **Benefits:** USP offers comprehensive benefits for personal and financial well-being, including healthcare options and retirement savings.
