THE POSITION


The Computer Science and Mathematics Specialist will design and drive advanced, future-ready curricula that integrate Mathematics, Science, Computational Thinking, Artificial Intelligence, and Generative AI across grade levels. This role is responsible for embedding deep conceptual math and science learning with coding, AI literacy, robotics, web/app development, and real-world problem solving, while also leading teacher professional development and supporting institution-wide technology initiatives and events.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Curriculum Design & Development

  • Design integrated, cross-disciplinary curricula combining Math, Science, Coding, AI, and Computational Thinking, aligned with NEP 2020, CBSE, and international benchmarks.
  • Develop grade-wise curriculum frameworks from Primary to Senior School with progressive depth in mathematics, logic, and algorithmic reasoning.
  • Create AI-infused and GenAI-enabled learning modules, including: data literacy, model thinking, prompt engineering fundamentals and ethical AI use in classrooms.


Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Technology Integration

  • Embed Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI concepts into Math & Science curricula covering : AI fundamentals and applications, machine learning concepts (introductory to advanced), generative AI tools and classroom use cases and responsible and ethical AI usage.
  • Integrate advanced computational problem-solving into Math instruction using AI.


Coding, Robotics & Development Ecosystems

  • Integrate coding and development frameworks across curriculum, including: scratch, python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, app development concepts, web development foundations.
  • Design and support robotics-based learning using platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi.
  • Create hands-on STEM/STEAM projects that combine: coding, robotics, math modeling and scientific experimentation.


Resource & Content Development

  • Develop student workbooks, teacher manuals, project templates, assessment rubrics, and digital resources.
  • Collaborate with multimedia, design, and tech teams to create: interactive simulations, e-learning modules, gamified and AI-supported assessments and ensure content is inclusive, inquiry-driven, application-oriented, and rooted in real-world relevance.
  • Design and deliver professional development programs for teachers on:, AI and GenAI integration in classrooms, coding and computational thinking in Math & Science, robotics, web/app development, and emerging edtech tools.


Innovation, Research & Continuous Improvement

  • Research and benchmark global trends in AI education, STEM pedagogy, and school-level technology adoption.
  • Pilot new programs and measure impact using data-driven insights.
  • Continuously evolve curriculum to stay aligned with rapid technological and AI advancements.


Collaboration & Institutional Engagement

  • Work closely with instructional designers, school leaders, tech teams, and data analysts to ensure effective rollout.
  • Support in-house technology events, such as: coding competitions, AI showcases, STEM fairs and exhibitions.
  • Enable inter-disciplinary projects and cross-grade alignment across Math, Science, and Technology.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, Education, AI, or related fields.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in curriculum design or advanced classroom practice.
  • Mandatory experience in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI within educational or applied contexts.
  • Strong command over Mathematics concepts and their application through computational models.
  • Proficiency in coding and development tools, including: scratch, python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AI tools and platforms.
  • Excellent curriculum writing, instructional planning, and communication skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Certification in AI education, coding instruction, STEM facilitation, or educational technology.
  • Experience with platforms such as Tynker, Code.org, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Google Workspace for Education, and AI-based tools.
  • Strong background in project-based learning, design thinking, and assessment design for STEM competencies.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Passion for building future-ready learners with creativity, curiosity, and ethical awareness.
