Job Title: Compliance Testing & Monitoring Analyst Department: Compliance Reports To: Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance Job Summary: The Compliance Testing & Monitoring Analyst is responsible for executing compliance testing and monitoring activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and standards. This role involves evaluating key compliance risks, identifying control weaknesses, and providing assurance to management on the effectiveness of risk mitigation practices. Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct Monitoring and Testing Reviews: Execute reviews across key compliance risks to assess the effectiveness of controls and processes. Perform Compliance Testing: Carry out comprehensive testing on topics identified from the Compliance Risk Assessment. Ensure testing identifies all potential risks from a core compliance perspective and collaborate with stakeholders to address these risks effectively. Test Adherence to Regulatory Guidelines: Verify compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines and confirm that adequate controls are in place to manage risks. Reporting and Assurance: Present testing results clearly to compliance coverage teams and management, providing assurance on risk mitigation and control effectiveness. Apply Advanced Review Techniques: Utilize appropriate review methodologies and testing techniques to maximize assurance and coverage. Review and Validate Findings: Prepare, validate, and check testing outcomes before submitting them for management review. Lead discussions with relevant business partners to articulate risks and issues identified. Timely Delivery of Reviews: Ensure all assigned testing activities are delivered within the agreed budget, timeframes, and meet quality expectations. Risk Evaluation and Mitigation: Promote continuous risk assessment and support in the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of compliance risks based on testing outcomes. Management Assurance: Provide independent assurance to management on the operational effectiveness of compliance controls and adherence to internal guidelines. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or a related field. Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders at various levels. Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
