Compliance Testing & Monitoring Analyst

A Compliance Testing & Monitoring Analyst is responsible for ensuring a company adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This involves conducting testing and monitoring activities to identify potential compliance risks and control weaknesses, and then reporting findings and recommendations to management. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Key Responsibilities: Developing and executing testing plans: This includes designing and implementing procedures to assess the effectiveness of controls designed to mitigate compliance risks. Conducting monitoring activities: This involves continuously observing and evaluating processes, transactions, and other activities to identify potential compliance issues. Identifying and assessing risks: Analyzing potential compliance gaps and weaknesses in controls, and evaluating the severity of those risks. Reporting findings and recommendations: Documenting compliance testing and monitoring results, and providing clear and concise reports to management with recommendations for improvement. Staying up-to-date on regulations: Continuously researching and understanding changes in relevant laws and regulations, and ensuring that the company's compliance program is current. Collaborating with stakeholders: Working with various teams within the organization, including legal, audit, and operations, to address compliance issues and promote a culture of compliance. Developing and implementing solutions: Assisting in the development and implementation of corrective actions to address identified compliance issues.
