Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Legal

1. Preparing and reviewing the sale agreements with brands and talent.

2. Preparing and reviewing Vendor/Venue service agreements

3. Coordinating with the customer for ensuring timely completion of agreement finalization

4. Drafting, vetting, restructuring, and redlining of legal documents including Services Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Leave and License Agreements, Inter Company Agreements, etc.

5. Review and interpret contract language, applicable laws, and regulations and effectively communicate with business teams. Work together with business teams to evaluate and advise on transactions they are entering into.

6. Assisting the team with structuring, reviewing, and drafting various Technology Agreements such as non-revenue generating contracts, In-bound Licensing, Evaluation, and Pre-release Agreements.

7. Facilitating team in providing legal support to a portfolio of Client Products with periodic review of various releases, third-party integrations, and code sanitization.

8. Keep abreast of developments and updates in the legal landscape across regions of operations of IT and doing business in India.

9. Helping the team with the review of various contracts related to Procurement and operations of an establishment.

10. Liaise with various internal teams to manage requests from government, regulatory and/or quasi-judicial authorities as and when required.

11. Managing legal notices received in India, Dubai and Singapore for establishment-related matters. 


Compliance 

1. Maintaining the records of all the compliance documents of the company.

2. Ensuring all the board and shareholder resolutions are maintained systematically 

3. Ensure all the statutory filings of the company are made on time 

4. Ensure the NDAs of the Company are valid and review them from time to time 

5. Ensure all the agreements of the company are in order and all maintain copies of major agreements. 

6. Ensure the annual returns of the Company are filed on time and share the necessary details for the same.

7. Work in a high-paced department and multi-task many contracts in various stages of negotiation.

8. Work as a liaison with the various company teams including client-facing account teams, technology teams, vendor management, and compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile


The candidate should have work experience in legal / compliance teams. A real estate background would be an added benefit.


  • Lawyer from a reputed Law school with 1-2 years of experience 
  • Aptitude for detail and a high degree of organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet numerous deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken 
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel 
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively within a team 
  • General business understanding to deliver value 
  • Familiarity with laws related to Information Technology and contracts and Legal research
