Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata for a Personal Accounting Intern. The intern will be responsible for assisting with financial statements, using accounting software, performing journal entries, cash management, drafting documents and supporting various finance tasks. The role requires analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting principles. The intern will work closely with the accounting team to gain practical experience in the field of finance and accounts. The Personal Accounting Intern will also be responsible for end to end management of the personal accounts of the Isha Group directors as and when needed. Qualifications Proficiency in Financial Statements, Journal Entries (Accounting) Experience with Accounting Software and practical knowledge of Finance Experience working with Tally ERP and spreadsheet software, such as LibreOffice Calc or MS Excel Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data accurately Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Enthusiasm for learning and developing accounting skills Relevant coursework or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred Understanding of various financial investment instruments and securities including stocks, mutual funds, bonds etc is preferred This position is also open to persons newly joining the workforce.
