Designation: Compliance Executive/ Officer
Reporting to: Finance & Taxation Manager
Duration : Full Time
Location : Bangalore

About the Role:
The Compliance Officer will identify the risks that hinder the achievement of Donatekart’s objectives, assess the adequacy of and/or recommend appropriate internal control systems to reduce associated risks and test the compliance level of transactions as per norms.
S/he will also provide guidance, training, and compliance oversight in the areas of finance and administration, procurement, and human resources. S/he shall work closely with the Management and all relevant departments/ functions, as necessary.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To ensure that internal control processes and systems are adequate to minimize risks.
  • Validation and Verification of KYC documents of various business stakeholders
  • Ensure strict adherence to office practices and procedures
  • Assist the Finance team in the execution of all types of external audits and reviews, including management responses and action to be taken.
  • Immediately report gross misconduct or suspected fraudulent activities to the management.
  • Conduct special investigations and analytical projects, as necessary;
  • Work on any other special projects as assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, business, management, and law would be preferred.
  • Certified Internal Auditors and/or semi-qualified Chartered Accountants, with relevant experience, shall also be considered
  • 2-3 years of experience in audit and/or compliance, handling progressively responsible roles within the Internal Audit or Compliance functions;
  • Should be willing to work out of Bangalore location
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player;
  • Ability to present information effectively and efficiently to the management and concerned managers;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team setup;
  • Team player, learning attitude, ability to work in a face-paced growing startup, work with cross-functional teams.
  • Sound judgment, ability to work independently, under pressure and ensure confidentiality;
