Job Description

Role Overview: As a team member at Grand Continent Hotels, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's legal and governance functions. Your responsibilities will include assisting in maintaining company records, drafting meeting minutes, conducting legal research, managing legal documents and contracts, organizing meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be involved in developing policies, collaborating with different departments, and engaging in ongoing professional development in corporate law and governance. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation and maintenance of company records. - Support the drafting of meeting minutes and resolutions. - Participate in corporate governance activities and compliance checks. - Conduct legal research for various projects. - Help manage the company's legal documents and contracts. - Assist in organizing meetings and communication logistics. - Review and analyze regulatory requirements. - Support timely reporting and documentation. - Prepare board materials and agendas. - Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information. - Help develop effective policies and procedures for corporate governance. - Collaborate with different departments for legal compliance. - Engage in ongoing professional development in corporate law. - Work with external legal counsel for legal matters. - Handle administrative tasks related to company secretarial functions. Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. - Strong understanding of corporate governance principles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Attention to detail and organizational skills. - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. - Effective time management and task prioritization. - Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks. - Proactive attitude and willingness to learn. - Prior internship or experience in a corporate environment is a plus. - Proficient in legal research and document interpretation. - Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder interactions. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. - Basic knowledge of corporate law and regulations. - Participation in extracurricular activities related to law or business is advantageous.,
