Community Manager

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Growth

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across platforms (Discord, Slack, social media, forums, etc.).
• Facilitate conversations, answer community questions, and ensure members feel supported and heard.
• Create programs to increase community participation, retention, and satisfaction.

Content & Communication

• Draft announcements, newsletters, discussion prompts, and community updates.
• Collaborate with marketing to align community messaging with broader campaigns.
• Create or coordinate community-friendly resources (FAQs, guides, onboarding materials).

Moderation & Governance

• Oversee moderation processes to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
• Establish and enforce community guidelines.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteer moderators or ambassadors.

Events & Activations

• Plan and host virtual or in-person community events such as AMAs, webinars, meetups, and workshops.
• Partner with internal teams or external guests to deliver valuable community experiences.

Insights & Reporting

• Track and analyze community engagement metrics (growth, sentiment, activity).
• Provide regular reports to stakeholders outlining community trends and opportunities.
• Gather community feedback to inform product, marketing, and strategy decisions.

Relationship Building

• Identify and cultivate relationships with power users, advocates, influencers, and partners.
• Support and maintain ambassador or advocacy programs.
