Role Overview: As the Assistant Manager/Manager in Donor Management at Catalysts for Social Action (CSA), your primary responsibility will be to enhance and grow CSAs donor base across various segments such as corporates, foundations, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), institutions, and individual supporters. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships, securing financial resources, ensuring compliance, and creating meaningful engagement opportunities. Your strong communication, relationship management, and fundraising skills will be crucial in helping CSA achieve its mission and expand its impact. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research to identify potential donors aligned with CSAs mission, across corporates, foundations, institutions, and individuals. - Establish and maintain a comprehensive donor database with key contacts, engagement history, and giving capacity. - Monitor giving trends, CSR priorities, and philanthropic developments relevant to CSAs work. - Cultivate and manage relationships with existing donors, ensuring continuous engagement and support. - Serve as the primary contact for assigned donors, maintaining effective communication and trust-building. - Arrange donor/partner meetings, presentations, and field visits to showcase CSAs work and impact. - Develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and tailored partnership pitches. - Review agreements and secure financial contributions, in-kind support, and long-term commitments. - Work towards achieving annual fundraising targets across different donor categories. - Assist in planning donor engagement activities, including employee engagement, campaigns, and recognition events. - Collaborate with corporates on CSR initiatives, individuals on giving campaigns, and foundations on program support. - Ensure donor experiences are meaningful, impactful, and in line with CSAs values. - Coordinate with program teams to gather timely updates, reports, and impact data. - Ensure donor-related compliance, documentation, and financial reports are prepared accurately and on time. - Maintain updated records of donations, utilization, and engagement touchpoints. - Collaborate with the Manager/Senior Manager and program teams on proposals, reporting, and donor servicing. - Contribute to the development and execution of CSAs annual fundraising and donor engagement strategy. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (Masters preferred). - 5-6 years of experience in the social sector in donor management, fundraising, corporate partnerships, CSR, institutional relations, or business development (NGO experience preferred). - Proven track record of managing diverse donor relationships and achieving fundraising goals. - Strong understanding of CSR regulations, donor compliance requirements, and philanthropic trends in India. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional language (optional). - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. - Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, CRM/fundraising software (e.g., Zoho), and creative tools (e.g., Canva). - Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask. - Willingness to travel to CSA project locations and availability on some weekends.
