Job Description

About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Documentation Engineer to manage and oversee the complete documentation process for an Edible Oil Refinery Commissioning Project in Qatar.

This contract-based role requires a professional with strong knowledge of Testing & Commissioning (T&C), Integrated Performance Testing (IPT), PTMS, and QA/QC documentation. The candidate will ensure accurate preparation, validation, and handover of all project records, reports, and manuals during the final commissioning phase.


Key Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the complete project documentation lifecycle, including PTMS, test sheets, commissioning dossiers, O&M manuals, and training materials.
  • Develop and implement document control processes aligned with client/PMC standards.
  • Supervise a team of Document Controllers and Documentation Engineers to ensure accuracy, traceability, and timely submissions.
  • Coordinate with technical, QA/QC, and commissioning teams for data collection, validation, and record management.
  • Maintain version control and ensure compliance with project documentation protocols.
  • Prepare final handover dossiers, training manuals, and operation documentation for client submission.
  • Support audits, inspections, and final acceptance documentation as per PMC/client requirements.


Requirements:

  • Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) or equivalent technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15-20 years in documentation, QA/QC, or commissioning support for edible oil refinery or process plant projects.
  • Proven experience in EPC/PMC documentation systems, PTMS, and commissioning record management.
  • Proficiency in Document Management Systems (DMS) such as Aconex, SmartPlant, or similar.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Prior Qatar/GCC project experience preferred.

  • Duration: 6-12 months (extendable)
