To lead the Purchase & Commercial function, driving strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement excellence to support Wireworks large-scale IT/AV infrastructure projects nationwide. This role will set procurement strategies, manage high-value negotiations, and ensure cost-efficient and timely availability of materials and solutions.
• Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, supplier performance, and risk management.
• High-Value Deal Management: Lead negotiations and procurement for projects exceeding 50 Cr annually, including single deals of 10 Cr+.
• Vendor & OEM Relations: Build and sustain relationships with global OEMs and distributors (Cisco, Samsung, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, etc.), ensuring special pricing and supply continuity.
• Commercial & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to GST, import/export, contractual terms, and audit requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of purchase and commercial executives, ensuring process discipline and capability building.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Design, Projects, and Finance teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. • Systems & Analytics: Oversee ERP (SAP/Tally) driven procurement, inventory tracking, and MIS reporting for management decision-making. • Logistics & Delivery: Direct logistics, shipping, and vendor delivery tracking across Pan-India project sites.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance supplier base, improve cycle times, and strengthen risk mitigation strategies.
