Key Responsibilities: Loan Valuation & Analysis: Lead valuation assessments for commercial loan portfolios including syndicated loans, revolvers, term facilities, mezzanine, and ABL structures. Perform cash flow modeling, collateral assessment, and covenant stress testing. Review and challenge valuation models and assumptions used by origination and credit teams. Strategic Oversight: Collaborate with origination, underwriting, and credit risk teams to ensure consistent valuation frameworks. Provide valuation advisory during deal structuring, acquisition financing, and secondary loan trading. Develop and implement valuation policies and governance in line with regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external valuation advisors, auditors, and regulators to support transparency and compliance. Present valuation results and risk assessments to executive committees, investment teams, and credit forums. Syndicated & Asset-Based Lending Expertise: Evaluate market pricing, borrower creditworthiness, and syndication participation terms. Oversee structuring and valuation of ABL deals including borrowing base validation and inventory/receivables analysis. Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor junior analysts and build strong internal valuation capabilities. Drive best practices across valuation and risk functions in collaboration with other business units. Qualifications: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in commercial lending. Deep understanding of loan syndication, asset-based lending, and middle-market or large corporate credit structures . Proven expertise in loan valuation. Strong familiarity with loan documentation, covenants, and collateral monitoring . Prior experience working in valuation roles , advisory, or with rating agencies or loan funds preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
