Lead Advisor - Credit Review

As a Lead Advisor - Credit Review at FC Global Services India LLP, you will be at the forefront of the Credit Review Team, responsible for implementing and delivering a robust independent challenge and review of first-line credit risk responsibilities. Your role will involve evaluating transactions sampled against risk appetite, policies, and procedures, providing feedback to stakeholders, and preparing quarterly assessments of lending activities for alignment with the Banks risk appetite. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation and ongoing delivery of independent challenge and review of first-line credit risk responsibilities. - Perform file testing for commercial lending origination activity, reviewing and challenging transactions. - Evaluate sampled transactions against risk appetite and policies, providing feedback to stakeholders. - Identify deficiencies and areas for corrective feedback. - Prepare reports for quarterly assessments of lending activities for alignment with Banks risk appetite. Qualifications Required: - 7-9 years of experience in credit risk management/audit function. - Knowledge of financial services/banking domain. - Experience in Commercial Lending and underwriting. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Stakeholder management skills for effective planning, communication, and service delivery. - Proficiency in MS-Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. - Bachelor/Masters degree preferably in finance. In this role, you will work closely with a team of experienced resources in Credit Review and collaborate with global stakeholders to execute sample testing, identify deficiencies, and provide corrective feedback. Your ability to effectively manage tasks, attention to detail, and coordination with various stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role. Additionally, you will report to the Senior Manager - Credit Review and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
