Collections Executive

The Collections Executive is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from customers. This role involves contacting customers, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely collection of payments while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

Debt Recovery & Follow-ups

• Contact customers via phone, email, or messaging for overdue payments

• Send reminders and follow-up notices according to company policy

• Negotiate and secure payment commitments

Account Management

• Review customer accounts to identify overdue or risky accounts

• Maintain accurate records of payment schedules and communication logs

• Update account status after each interaction

• Customer Support & Issue Resolution

• Understand reasons for non-payment and provide solutions

• Coordinate with billing or sales departments to resolve disputes or discrepancies

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly collection reports

• Track key metrics like aging analysis, recovery targets, success rate

• Escalate complex or high-value default cases to seniors

Compliance & Policies

• Follow regulatory guidelines and company collection procedures

• Avoid unfair practices; adhere to legal compliance standards

• Protect customer data and uphold ethical collection behavior
