Collection Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Debt Recovery Management:

Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely collection of receivables through direct communication, legal processes, or third-party agencies.

• Team Supervision:

Lead and supervise the collections team, assign targets, monitor performance, and provide training to improve efficiency and compliance.

• Strategy Development:

Design and implement collection strategies and policies tailored to various delinquency buckets (early, mid, late stage).

• Customer Communication:

Handle escalated cases and negotiate repayment plans with customers while maintaining professionalism and compliance with company standards.

• Reporting and Analytics:

Track KPIs such as recovery rate, days sales outstanding (DSO), aging analysis, and prepare regular performance reports for senior management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in collections or credit management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of collection software and CRM tools.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage stress and difficult conversations professionally.
• Leadership and team management experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in banking, NBFCs, telecom, utilities, or any organization with large-scale credit operations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
