Role Overview

You will work closely with the founding team to establish:

• Service delivery
• Market positioning
• Financial strategy
• Client relationships
• Internal systems and processes

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong financial expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and deep understanding of startup/SME finance.

1. Company Building & Strategy

• Co-build the company’s overall vision, mission, and roadmap
• Develop and structure service offerings (fundraising advisory, financial modelling, valuation, vCFO services, etc.)
• Help in setting up operations, compliance, and organizational structure
• Drive business planning and long-term strategy

2. Capital Advisory Execution

• Lead client engagements on fundraising, capital structuring, investor readiness
• Build financial models, projections, valuation reports
• Prepare and review investor materials (pitch deck, data room, financial statements)
• Support startups/MSMEs in negotiations and deal closure (non-legal)

3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, incubators, and ecosystem partners
• Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
• Represent the company at events, conferences, and investor forums

4. Team Leadership

• Hire and mentor financial analysts, associates, and consulting staff
• Establish internal workflows, quality standards, and delivery frameworks
• Lead cross-functional collaboration

5. Revenue & Growth

• Contribute to revenue planning, pricing strategy, and P&L performance
• Drive expansion of services into new verticals such as M&A advisory, grants advisory, or strategic finance
  

Education & Experience

• Background in

  Finance, Investment, Consulting, Economics, CA, CFA, MBA (Finance)

  or equivalent
• 2–8+ years of experience in:
• Investment Banking
• Venture Capital / Private Equity
• Financial consulting
• Startup fundraising advisory
• vCFO services
• Corporate finance roles

Skills

• Strong financial modelling & valuation skills
• Deep understanding of startup fundraising instruments (SAFE, CCPS, CCD, CN)
• Good knowledge of venture ecosystem, investors, and capital markets
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured thinking
