CNC Machine Operator – (PET Preform Mold Manufacturing) Location: Narela industrial area Experience: 3–10 years Salary: As per industry standards Job Responsibilities: Operate and set up CNC turning/CNC milling machines for precision mold components. Understand and interpret engineering drawings & tolerances (microns level). Handle tool offsets, program adjustments, and basic troubleshooting. Perform quality inspection using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Plug Gauge. Maintain machine parameters, coolant levels, tool life, and daily logbook. Ensure proper finish, dimensions, and surface accuracy required for PET preform mold inserts. Follow 5S, safety rules, production targets, and maintain shop discipline. Key SkillsStrong knowledge of G-code & M-code (editing + basic programming). Ability to read AutoCAD & technical drawings. Knowledge of steel grades used in molds (P20, H13, SS420, SS304 etc.). Experience in precision machining (preferred: mold/die industry). Understanding of shrinkage, machining allowances, and tolerances. 2️⃣ VMC Operator / Programmer – (Mold Component Machining) Experience: 2–10 years Job Responsibilities: Operate and independently set up VMC/3-axis/4-axis machines. Load programs, set job zero, select tools, and perform tool setting. Haas/Fanuc/Siemens controller operation knowledge. Execute machining for mold cores, cavities, neck rings, stack components. Ensure high-precision machining, surface finishing, and correct tolerances. Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, alignment check). Coordinate with design team for drawing clarifications. Key SkillsStrong CAM knowledge (Mastercam/Fusion/SolidCAM – if available). Understanding of AutoCAD, engineering drawing, GD&T. Familiar with mold industry machining sequence (roughing, semi-finishing, finishing). Experience working with hardened steels & pre-hardened materials. Ability to handle tight tolerances (±0.01 mm). 3️⃣ AutoCAD Draftsman – Mold Design Support (intermediate Level) Experience: 1–4 years Job Responsibilities: Prepare and modify 2D & 3D AutoCAD drawings for mold components. Convert 2D drawings to machine-friendly formats. Support design team in dimensioning, tolerance marking, BOM preparation. Prepare drawings for core, cavity, neck ring, ejector system, and mold layouts. Maintain drawing data, revision history, and documentation. Key SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential). Ability to understand mold drawings, fits, tolerances, machining allowances. Basic understanding of shrinkage in plastics & molding parameters (added advantage). Good communication and coordination with the shop floor team. 4️⃣ General Helper/Fitter (Optional Role) Responsibilities Assist CNC/VMC operators in loading/unloading, cleaning, deburring, and polishing. Maintain tools, fixtures, and shop cleanliness (5S). Support the assembly team during mold assembly & testing.
