Good understanding of manufacturing processes (especially springs, wire-forms, metal components) or willingness to learn quickly. Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach – able to roll up sleeves and drive deals. Proven ability to manage sales pipeline, forecast revenue accurately and deliver results. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment. Familiarity with CRM tools / sales software is a plus. Willingness to travel (within India and possibly abroad) as required for customer visits, trade fairs etc. Performance Metrics Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets (new business + existing customer growth). Growth in number of new customers acquired and/or new market segments entered. Customer retention rate and volume of repeat business. Margin improvement / profitability of sales deals. Pipeline health: number of qualified leads, conversion rate, size of deal funnel. Timely execution and handover of new customer orders with minimal escalations.
