Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Ownership:

    Drive and manage full Profit & Loss responsibility across the assigned cluster of hospitals.
  • Branch Operations:

    Supervise and support daily operations of hospitals within the cluster, ensuring standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
  • Revenue Growth:

    Drive top-line revenue and achieve 100% EBITDA targets; implement plans to increase OPD footfall and maximize service utilization.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay abreast of local healthcare trends, competitors, and patient needs; use this insight to shape business strategy and offerings.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, consultants, and medical teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Team Management:

    Lead, motivate, and retain hospital staff; ensure talent development, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Problem Solving:

    Analyze operational challenges; provide timely, effective solutions to improve efficiencies and resolve issues.
  • Customer Experience:

    Monitor and enhance the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI); ensure high-quality patient care and service excellence.
  • Staff Retention:

    Implement employee engagement programs to minimize attrition and promote a positive work culture.
  • Profitability & Cost Control:

    Identify areas to optimize cost structures while improving service delivery.
  • Expansion & Projects:

    Contribute to new hospital setup, expansion plans, renovation projects, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Hospital Administration:

    Oversee end-to-end hospital admin functions including vendor management, housekeeping, security, and facility upkeep.
  • Legal Compliance:

    Ensure adherence to hospital legal regulations and statutory requirements across all units in the cluster.

Preferred candidate profile

Requirements:

  • Education:

    Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospital Administration, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 1015 years of hospital/retail operations experience with at least 5 years in a multi-unit leadership role.
  • Skills:

    • Strong financial acumen (P&L, budgeting, revenue forecasting)
    • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
    • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
    • Strong communication and leadership presence
    • Willingness to travel extensively across districts
