Job Description

As the Cluster Head, your primary responsibility will be to drive B2B channel sales growth for cables & wires products. This pivotal role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing relationships with key channel partners, and leading the cluster sales team to achieve targeted revenue and growth goals. To achieve cluster sales revenue and volume targets, you will drive B2B sales growth in the cables and wires segment. This includes developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand distributor relationships and increase market penetration in the east cluster. By analyzing sales forecasts, account trends, and historical performance, you will be able to inform and refine sales strategies, implementing corrective actions and strategic adjustments as needed to meet business objectives. In terms of distributor management and market expansion, your role will involve managing and strengthening relationships with key distributors in the cluster to increase Polycab's share of wallet and drive business growth. You will also be responsible for identifying and onboarding new distributors in whitespace markets to expand the company's footprint. Driving enquiry generation and conversion with distributors will ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities, while pitching the premium cables & wire and the entire basket of Polycab product portfolio to existing distributors. Collaboration with product design and pricing teams is essential to set competitive pricing strategies and achieve target margins. Working closely with internal functions is crucial to ensure smooth daily operations and effective handling of client requests and requirements. Additionally, driving the adaption and effective use of digital tools such as CRM systems and sales databases will improve sales tracking and operational efficiency. Monitoring sales team performance against key metrics, ensuring compliance with productivity and performance standards, and motivating and developing the sales team to foster a high-performance environment are also key aspects of your role. **KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:** - Achievement of B2B sales revenue and volume targets - Sales & market share growth - New distributors added in whitespace markets - Effectiveness of account coverage and share of wallet growth - Timeliness and efficiency of receivables collection - Productivity and coverage metrics for the sales team - Enquiry generation and conversion rates **Specific Experience:** - Minimum of 15 years in sales, with at least 10-12 years focused on the cable and wire industry sales roles - 5 years of experience in a regional head or leadership position overseeing B2B sales preferably.,
