Responsibilities:

  • Lead cluster operations & profitability management
  • Monitor operational excellence & P&L performance
  • Oversee plant ops & SBU profit centers
  • Drive EBITDA growth through strategic planning.
  • About the Role:
  • Cluster/Divisional Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a cluster/division of company operations. This strategic leadership role involves overseeing manufacturing, operations, P&L management, customer relations, and business development for the assigned division. The role demands strong business acumen, operational excellence, and people leadership to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Leadership & Strategy
  • Drive divisional strategy in line with the overall organizational vision and goals.
  • Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the division/cluster.
  • Ensure cost optimization, operational excellence, and profitability across plants/units.
  • Operations Management
  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing, supply chain, and quality operations within the division.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma, and process improvements.
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety & compliance standards.
  • Financial & P&L Ownership
  • Manage divisional P&L with focus on revenue growth, margins, and cost control.
  • Review financial performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Customer & Market Management
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with OEMs and key accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the cluster/division.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer requirements to drive growth.
  • People & Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant heads, functional leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Drive talent development and succession planning for critical leadership positions.
  • Innovation & Technology
  • Promote R&D, product innovation, and technology adoption to strengthen competitiveness.
  • Support digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 practices across plants.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 20+ years of experience in the automotive/auto component manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership experience at plant head/divisional head/cluster head level.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and customer management.
  • Demonstrated ability in P&L ownership, strategic execution, and business development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Desired Attributes:
