Cloud Engineer, Analyst
As a trusted partner to our clients, you will be pushing the organization forward while helping them solve difficult technology problems. You will foster an environment that empowers teams and facilitates the development of your team members, setting everyone up to deliver their best work.The Cloud Engineer supports the systems life cycle in a multi-platform environment by implementing and maintaining an efficient and secure enterprise infrastructure pipeline that offers uninterrupted service for our customers. The Cloud Engineer provides a holistic skill that addresses all public Cloud providers services for a broad range of applications including compute, storage, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), security, and application development, deployment, and management.The Cloud Engineer must be willing to continue to master one major Cloud provider (AWS or Azure), yet also be able to apply these engineering skills across other public Cloud provider solutions based on customer preference defined through each project. This position is expected to have subject matter knowledge with a firm grasp of Agile, DevOps, and various technologies and protocols.
Work you’ll do
Work with an automation mindset to proactively build and deploy Cloud based environments in readiness for pre-production and production workflows. Develop or enhance to continually improve automation and orchestration of deployment pipelines. Research and investigate new capabilities of cloud services and other technologies as they evolve.Assist in gathering, clarifying, and documenting requirements of solutions. Work collaboratively with architects and other engineers to determine potential gaps and alternative solutions. Deliver design documents, software programs, scripts, definition and configuration files, and other code centric artifacts as needed to implement orchestrated solutions.

- Must be willing to partner with other cross-functional IT Service teams to pull in the firm’s standards so they are baked into the engineered solutions our team offers our clients.
Operational
- Absolutely must be a self-starter with a high degree of experimentation through exploration.
- Takes the initiative to break current solutions down so they can be built back up better than they were.
- Practical exposure with automation tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, and/or Puppet.
- Deep level of knowledge for at least one public cloud service offerings (IaaS, PaaS, DBaaS services) and will to work across public cloud server offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Infrastructure as Software (IaC, Container Orchestration, Observability, CI/CD)
- Modern security practices and modern API platform design.
- 2+ years of application support experience (including production) with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft IIS7.5, better if Windows 2012 and IIS 8.0
- 3+ years of experience working with and a good understanding of concepts and supporting technology for one of the following areas:
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, Networking & Virtualization.
- Knowledge of the Docker & Kubernetes.
- Demonstrates good understanding of complex problem troubleshooting techniques in application environment and in relation to hosting infrastructure and engineering area.
- Ability to formulate and recommend technical direction for OS / Hardware / Applications related activities for the project teams in collaboration with other IT organizations within US Information Technology Services.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of performance tuning and optimization including the identification of performance related issues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and Enterprise organisation.
Essential
- Extensive hands on experience in Azure Cloud
- Extensive hands on experience in Azure DevOps and IAAS, PAAS services
- Good Knowledge in IaC, CICD, Kubernetes
Good to have
- Good knowledge on Terraforms, PowerShell
- Good knowledge on Server Administrations
- Good Knowledge on AD, Networking & IIS
