About the Job:

DevOps Engineer

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment workflows, implement secure CI/CD pipelines, and support cloud-native solutions using modern infrastructure and monitoring tools.

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent CI tools.
• Administer source control systems like Git, Bitbucket, SVN, and AWS CodeCommit.
• Integrate mandatory security tools like Acunetix and Veracode into pipelines; leverage SonarQube, Fortify, and MEND as additional security tools.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Support container orchestration using AWS EKS and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications.
• Automate operational tasks and build scripts in Bash, Python, and other scripting languages.
• Utilize AWS services including Lambda, Load Balancer, S3, ECS, ECR, Cognito, SNS, CloudWatch, Route 53, API Gateway, EC2, Secret Manager, WAF, ElasticCache, and Amazon EventBridge.
• Maintain and enhance middleware platforms including WebSphere, WebLogic, and JBoss.
• Use tools such as Postman, Microsoft Graph, and text editors like VI/VIM for testing and configuration.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable and secure delivery of software.
• Document workflows, configurations, and support knowledge transfer across teams.

Who you are:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Proven experience working with AWS and CI/CD tools in production environments.
• DevOps or cloud certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.) are a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

• Primary Tools

  : Jenkins, CodeCommit, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory (JFrog), SVN.

• Security Scanning

  : Acunetix, Veracode (Mandatory), SonarQube, MEND, Fortify (Preferred).

• Infrastructure as Code

  : Terraform, Ansible.

• AWS Cloud Services

  : EKS (mandatory), Lambda, Load Balancer, S3, ECS, ECR, Cognito, SNS, CloudWatch, Route 53, API Gateway, EC2, Secret Manager, WAF, ElasticCache, EventBridge.

• Containerization & Orchestration

  : Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.

• Build & Package

  : Maven, Ant, Gradle.

• Middleware Platforms

  : WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss.

• Scripting

  : Shell, Bash, Perl, Python, Jenkins Shared Libraries, JSON, XML.

• Reporting & Tracking

  : JIRA, other ticketing systems.

• OS Environments

  : Linux, Windows.

• Databases

  : Oracle DB, MySQL.
