Job Title: Backend Developer – Cloud & Distributed Systems Department: Engineering / Software Development Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Python, Java, or Go, and deep expertise in designing robust, scalable, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in distributed computing, messaging systems, container orchestration, and working within agile development teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices Collaborate with Product Management and QA teams to define, build, and deliver robust software solutions Implement distributed caching mechanisms using Redis, Hazelcast, or similar tools Build and manage cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CoreOS Design and maintain integrations with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka Participate in design and code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions Ensure reliability and performance of backend systems under high availability requirements Maintain and optimize RDBMS or NoSQL-based storage solutions Collaborate with geographically distributed teams, including QA and customer support Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, OOP, distributed computing Proven experience developing and deploying applications in cloud and containerized environments Familiarity with Linux systems (preferably CentOS/RHEL) Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies Hands-on experience with Redis, Hazelcast, or equivalent caching solutions Proficiency in one or more databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Contributions to open-source projects or strong GitHub portfolio Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Why Join Us?
