Role Overview

Clinical Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

✅ Extract, clean, transform, and validate clinical and practice datasets from:

• MySQL patient and clinical records
• MongoDB appointment and operational data
• Google Sheets / cloud documents / CSVs

✅ Create dashboards and reports for:

• compliance tracking
• PDMP monitoring
• clinical quality and performance indicators
• provider productivity and scheduling analytics
• patient attribution and engagement metrics

✅ Perform data audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and PHI integrity

✅ Work with internal teams to support:

• product development
• customer reporting needs
• regulatory data submissions
• analytics for decision-making

✅ Implement data dictionaries, mapping logic, and metadata standards

✅ Maintain HIPAA-aligned handling of PHI and PMI at all times

✅ Collaborate with engineering to improve data pipelines and automation

Required Skills & Experience

Domain & Regulatory Knowledge

✔ Healthcare data workflows (EHR/PM/clinical systems)

✔ Understanding of PHI, PMI, HIPAA handling protocols

✔ Familiarity with PDMP, compliance reporting, and clinical measures

Technical Skills

✔ SQL and MySQL querying

✔ MongoDB querying and aggregation

✔ Data wrangling using Excel/Sheets and CSV sources

✔ ETL / data cleansing concepts

✔ Ability to reconcile disparate datasets

Analytical & Reporting

✔ Strong statistical and analytical thinking

✔ Ability to produce insights and narrative summaries

✔ Experience with dashboards (any of the below):

• Power BI
• Tableau
• Metabase
• Google Data Studio / Looker Studio

Nice to Have

⭐ Experience in HL7, CCD/CCDA, FHIR data models

⭐ Experience with Python or R for data processing

⭐ Experience in healthcare operations or RCM analytics

⭐ Experience working with US healthcare practices

⭐ Experience with data quality automation

Soft Skills

✅ High attention to detail

✅ Strong data confidentiality discipline

✅ Ability to work independently with remote US teams

✅ Clear communication and documentation abilities

Education

• Degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related
• (Equivalent practical experience is acceptable)
