Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our maintenance company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction supervision, with a focus on maintenance and repair of existing structures. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Oversee maintenance and repair projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Site Supervision:
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage and supervise construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
• Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the course of the project.
• Technical Expertise:
• Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for repairs and improvements.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordination :
• Coordinate with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, tile works, and vendors ensure seamless project execution.
• Schedule and oversee the work of different vendors to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, expenses, and any changes to plans.
• Prepare regular reports for management and clients, detailing project status and any issues that need to be addressed.
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Client Relations:
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering and construction supervision.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of structures is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
• Preferred candidate: Male.
