Civil Design Engineer

Conducting site investigations to assess project feasibility Preparing detailed engineering designs and plans Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, architects, and contractors Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards Developing cost estimates and budgets for projects Overseeing construction activities and providing technical guidance Performing risk assessments and identifying mitigation strategies Reviewing and approving design modifications and changes Managing project timelines and ensuring timely completion Conducting traffic flow and safety analysis Providing support during project bidding and procurement processes Collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies Utilizing engineering software and tools for design and simulation Preparing and presenting project reports and documentation Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) licensure Experience with advanced CAD software Specialization in transportation engineering Knowledge of environmental regulations Strong project management skills Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience in a similar role Knowledge of sustainable design practices Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or ability to obtain within a year Proficiency in CAD software and design tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in highway and transportation design Knowledge of construction methods and materials Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Detail-oriented and highly organized
