Job Title: Chief Technical Officer (CTO) – Manufacturing Department: Technical / Operations Reporting To: Managing Director Location: Sholavaram Job Summary: The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) will be responsible for leading and overseeing all technical, production, and maintenance operations of the manufacturing facility. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in deep drawing hydraulics, annealing, chemical engineering, sheet metal manufacturing, and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate should possess both technical depth and business understanding, capable of managing end-to-end factory operations—from production planning to final output—while effectively leading a large workforce. Key Responsibilities: Oversee complete factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and process engineering. Ensure smooth functioning of deep drawing hydraulic machines and implement process improvements for better output and quality. Supervise and optimize annealing and chemical treatment processes used in production. Manage all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication—ensuring precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Take full ownership of the factory’s technical operations—from raw material input to finished product delivery. Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, equipment utilization, and workforce productivity. Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of all machinery and factory equipment to ensure uninterrupted production. Lead, guide, and motivate a large workforce (200+ employees) ensuring discipline, training, and performance improvement. Coordinate with top management for technical planning, budgeting, and production forecasting. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Drive innovation and introduce new technologies to improve factory operations and product quality. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of deep drawing hydraulic systems, annealing, and chemical processes. Strong technical expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, fabrication, and plant maintenance. Excellent leadership skills with proven experience managing teams of 200+ members. Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and cost optimization. Ability to handle end-to-end factory operations with hands-on involvement. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Good business and technical acumen to align factory operations with company goals. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 15–20 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in metal fabrication or sheet metal industry. Proven track record of managing large-scale technical operations and leading multidisciplinary teams.
