About the Role
The Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) serves as a strategic partner and business leader, driving organizational effectiveness and strategic initiatives across the product organization. This role acts as a strategic multiplier for the CPO, leading high-impact business initiatives while ensuring alignment between product strategy and business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Business Development
- Lead strategic initiatives that drive product-market fit and business growth
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and translate vision into organizational priorities
- Drive strategic partnerships and ecosystem development opportunities
Organizational Strategy Operations
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives and change management efforts
- Establish and monitor key business metrics and success criteria
Executive Communication Influence
- Prepare executive briefings, board presentations, and strategic communications
- Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders and external partners
- Drive alignment between product vision and company-wide strategic objectives
Business Intelligence Market Strategy
- Lead competitive analysis and market research initiatives
- Analyze business performance data and market insights to inform strategic decisions
- Support product investment and business case development
- Drive go-to-market strategy alignment and product positioning
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional strategic projects that span product and business functions
- Drive special initiatives and new business opportunity development
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations, or product strategy roles
- 2+ years of experience in a chief of staff, strategic operations, or senior business leadership role
- Strong understanding of product strategy, business models, and market dynamics
- Experience with strategic planning, business case development, and financial analysis
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional business initiatives
- Experience in high-growth technology companies or product-led organizations
- Knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and business intelligence
