Chief of Staff — Office of the Head (Aftermarket & Exports)

Role Summary

A force-multiplier to the Head (Aftermarket & Exports; Plant-level programs). Converts leadership intent into execution across sales, exports, marketing, supply chain, finance, production, quality, EHS, and maintenance. Owns the operating cadence, clears roadblocks, and ensures decisions become outcomes.

What You’ll Own

• Translate the Head’s instructions into clear plans: owners, timelines, RAG, risks, countermeasures

• Run the weekly/Monthly Business Review cadence; publish “Decisions & Actions” and track closures.

• Govern cross-functional programs: distributor rollouts, SEMA prep, RV partnerships, Amazon SKUs. 

• Oversee plant projects: capex tracking, layout changes, line balancing, TPM/5S/Kaizen, audit readiness (ISO/IATF/EHS).

• Build dashboards for Aftermarket, Exports, and Plant KPIs; highlight variances and drive corrective actions.

• Prepare briefs for key meetings; manage pre-reads and follow-ups; protect the Head’s calendar and triage escalations.

• Stand up lightweight SOPs/checklists where gaps exist (e.g., housekeeping, training rollouts).

Authority & Reporting

• Reports directly to the Head; empowered to assign tasks, set deadlines, convene reviews, and escalate on the Head’s behalf.

• Dotted-line influence across Sales/Exports/Marketing/SCM/Finance/Production/Quality/EHS/Maintenance.

Ideal Profile

• 6–10 years in Strategy/Ops/Consulting/Industrial Engineering or Plant Operations; strong program management.

• Proven shopfloor exposure and CI tools (TPM/5S/Kaizen); comfort with audit frameworks (ISO/IATF/EHS).

• Excellent written briefs, stakeholder management, and “influence without authority.”

• Data-savvy (spreadsheets/BI); builds simple, reliable trackers.
