Ispat Exports Private Limited is a mining & metals company based out of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

We are a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial group engaged in international non ferrous scrap trading, ferrous scrap trading, domestic finished steel trading, and new business ventures. As we expand, we are looking for a versatile, driven, and sharp individual to work closely with the founders (two brothers) across multiple verticals. Our offices are in Kolkata, Singapore and Dubai, with supplies spread out all over the globe.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief of Staff at IEPL and Encore Global. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing projects, coordinating with various departments, and supporting the executive team. This role is based in the Kolkata metropolitan area with some work from home flexibility.

What You’ll Do:

• Support domestic steel trading operations: order processing, dispatch follow-ups, client management
• Research and open new business development opportunities across industries
• Manage supplier and buyer communications across India and overseas
• Coordinate logistics, documentation, and payments with internal and external stakeholders
• Build and maintain organized tracking systems for deals and operations
• Be ready to travel occasionally for supplier/buyer visits (domestic and/or international)

• Strong willingness to learn and ability to multitask across sectors
• Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, adaptable, and resourceful
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
• Basic understanding of trading, shipping terms, and commodities is a plus
• Proficiency with Excel, email writing, basic CRM tools
• 1–4 years of work experience in trading, supply chain, sales, or similar fields (freshers with the right attitude will also be considered)
